The successful candidate will have be responsible for the installation and maintenance of both computer systems and networks, aiming for the highest functionality and quality of service. The ideal candidate must have a thorough knowledge of computer software and hardware and a variety of internet applications, networks and operating systems. This person will be the first point of technical resource for customers needing assistance, responsible for ensuring that successful outcomes to issues are achieved within SLAs. The role is focused upon the day-to-day delivery of technical support being completed within defined SLAs, accurately and with attention to detail. Due to the nature of the business, the ideal candidate will be flexible, able to manage their time effectively and have a suitable level of technical knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure issues are escalated within the helpdesk team, and to 2nd or 3rd line engineers
  • Log all support incidents and perform all backup checks
  • Maintain a good relationship with customers and senior management
  • Make sure applications are installed correctly and running efficiently
  • Supporting a network environment with technologies that include: - Windows Server, Wins 7 & 10, Citrix, Exchange, AD, MS Office
  • Any other ad hoc administration required
